folder icon 4 Tracking Sheets (Diary)

The Play5 tracking sheets ("diaries") are a great way to keep track of your physical activity.

Play 5 is a healthy message based on the idea that sufficient daily physical activity can be achieved by participating in at least 5 bouts of moderate to vigorous physical activity of approximately 10 minutes duration per day (an accumulation of 60 minutes). Keeping track will assist you to reach the Physical Activity Guidelines that recommend at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day for children and 30 minutes for adults.

What counts as a Play5 activity? Any moderate to vigorous activity including walking to the park or walking the dog, playing on the climbing frame in the park, playing in the backyard, swimming, playing a team sport, riding a bike, sweeping the kitchen floor, gardening or hanging out the washing.

How many times did you Play5 this week? Why not keep track and find out. You can choose a tracking sheet that just records the number of times you Play5 or you can choose a more detailed sheet where you record not only the number of time you were active but also the types of activities you, your family or your class enjoy.
